Human - Activity Tracker App Reviews

Very annoying constants notifications!

Why keep annoying your (loyal) users with constant unsolicited notifications? I requested ONLY to be notified if inactive & when reaching goal. Please STOP the constant annoying notifications, it is a time-waster, trivial, patronizing. Otherwise Id increase my rating to 4/5. After last update today (2016/4/23) I stopped using this app, because of the constant ridiculous notifications & battery drain.

Gentle motivator

I uninstalled this app once after a year to save battery life. Recently I installed a step counter app, but it made me miss Human. So Im using it again. It doesnt count steps, but it tracks activity,l figuring out automatically what you are doing. If it guesses wrong, you can edit the blocks of time to reflect reality. For example, I bicycle a lot, and sometimes a slow long climb will register as a walk, while the long fast descent will register as "transport." Its easy to change them both to "cycling." Oh, and I like the gentle reminders to get up and walk around when Im at work. Im sure this app affects battery life, but not nearly as much as the step counters I tried. Im keeping it.

Great idea horrible execution

I like the fact that you don’t have to remember to turn it on as opposed to every other ‘fitness’ app out there. Unfortunately their tracking is so buggy that the data returned is essentially useless. Basically if your phone switches cell towers it assumes you’re in the car. It is also incapable of accurately tracking distance while walking or running. It creats wild zig zag paths that inflate distance and/or cutting diagonals across buildings.

A whole new level of fitness

Since I first downloaded Human, I havent been able to help myself - I do a fair amount of walking in my day to day activities, so having an app which combines a beautifully designed UI working with a very simplistic, easy to use app with such precision is incredible. I cant lie, my life has changed from using Human. It has a ranking system which lets you see how you fare against other users - as well as the recently introduced Pulse, which shows other people in your area; all of this makes the app really appealing, in fact I will usually go out for a walk just to make sure I hit my daily targets - something I wouldnt have done for any reason before. Its an incredible app, they keep adding new features which make it more appealing - its awesome! Try it for a week and see the results.

Great app but?

Use this app every day, really like it. Problem wth bicycle Portion, shows Ive been riding a bike when Ive been Driving, so I deactivated that portion and I lost getting any walking I did. Would be nice if that could be turned off without losing walking being logged

Love it!

I have used this app for over a year and find that its motivating to me a competitive person. I also have an Apple Watch and while it does update my watch it seems to lag. I like the new features.

It runs on autopilot how convenient and motivating

I love it otherwise I wouldnt be challenged to move. Very interesting to see my activity level each day. Helps me to feel accomplishment through out the day.

Stay fit

This app makes getting a little or a whole lot of exercise fun! My wife and I are obsessed with getting in our daily 30! Supercool when we manage to hit 90! Human is definitely a good one to add to your app arsenal!

A Great Motivator

This app has given me that gentle nudge I need at times to stay active. The interface is simple and promotes positive interaction. I totally recommend it.

Pretty cool app to have!

Its pretty good! Its gets you motivated to be active without making you feel guilty for not being very active on those lazy days we tend to have often times.

Doesnt track cycling correctly

This app did not track my 10 mile commute correctly. It recorded it as less than 5 and often times tracked cycling as transport.

Well designed

I found it very motivational
